The Walking Dead (1936) was released 83 years ago right around today depending on how leap year plays into bringing Karloff back from the dead and making up the error every four years in Earth's trip around the sun (Earth year is actually about 365.25 days sprinkled with a bit of ersatz zombie pixie dust).  I'm going with the movie was initially released on Leap Day (pretty cool) February 29, 1936, by Warner Brothers (sources list Febuary 29, March 1, and March 14).
