"In a jazz-haunted, desire"!  Leslie Caron dancing and George Peppard on sax!  That's an A-Team.  How hard is it to play sax with a cigar in your mouth?  Cool poster, Vick!  Okie

Hi Peckinpah, I'm a sucker for Jim Thompson stories and your Getaway quad is hardboiled Thompson sweetness!  Really cool, P-Pah!  Okie

Hi Peckinpah,  Thanks for sharing your Jeremiah Johnson quad.  Man, I really like the film and it's cool to see this quad poster image for the first time.  I like the wrist wolves!  Okie

Great art on the Emperor of the North, Peckinpah!  Also, I think rhino protective services may need to study the Hatari strategy to smash poachers.   Okie

Very nice choice, Zorba!  It's the 40 year anniversary this year for Apocalypse Now.  Way to quad it in style!  I just read Bob Peak's bio and realized he went to Wichita State University (ol' Okie was born in Wichita, thus the "Hawker" short for Jayhawker).  Small world.  Okie

Hi Peckinpah, I've never heard of Villa Rides until now! Do you think it is an enjoyable movie? Lots of cool poster action!  Okie

VILLA RIDES was written by Robert Towne and Sam Peckinpah, so I would say it's worth a look. It was directed by Buzz Kulik.

I can't stand that film. Brynner didn't like Peckinpah (who was supposed to direct) and his script, the result is this terrible film. Funny, just two days ago I wrote about it, I'm doing a 62-page magazine these days on WILD BUNCH for Cinema Retro Magazine (out this summer).
But the film has its raison d'être: to quote Sam "I used everything they threw out of my script for THE WILD BUNCH..."
