I would question 2 things:

Why would a British quad have a US certificate on it?

Why would a British quad have the US release date?

I have this image as a US subway so I guess it’s been shrunk to make a fake quad.

I think the consensus was that it was not authentic.

- Theater is the American spelling (we use "Theatre")
- Most posters here use the term 'Cinema'. That's not to say there has never been a modern poster with 'Theatre', but doesn't seem very common
- The URL is www.thedarkknight.com, where as the URL on the burning building quad is www.thedarkknightmovie.co.uk
- It only seems to crop up SS, where as all the other quads are DS I believe

EDIT: Skyjackers beat me to it. Release date and R rating biggest evidence I think

This is the legit subway poster which I suspect has been downsized to make this fake quad.



Interestingly I've seen this listed on ebay by 2 sellers, the first being Tloce, the second a member who used to post on this forum who sold posters via ebay.

He also had some 'Armed Joker' 1-sheets for sale, I think he may have sent you one Dave?

someone sent us one several years ago. I don't remember who. It looks real to me but I stuck it in the back room because I don't know what to do with it.
