I came across this video on youtube, with discussions held with a couple UK dealers.

Excellent video, thanks for posting.

Perfect for newbies, but they could have included:

- who to contact before buying
- internet sites like MPA.com and MPC.guide
- tiny union logo
- fuzziness of letters
- classicposters were printed with 5+ printing plates, which create very rich color scheme and can be detected with loupe and on four crosshairs bynaked eye
- stamp on back
- rolled very rare for older MPs

I assume by on-line auctions they refer to Ebay, etc.  I have bought lobby cards on Ebay before and am fairly certain they are original (but I am not an expert).  Most often I buy posters/lobby cards at Heritage and EMP because I want them to have reviewed the material before I buy it.

Good video.  A perfect way to tell newbies about this niche hobby without scaring them with too many details.  They can learn the rest later.
