Just got this guy for my little burgeoning Bardot collection.

French 2 panels (92x126in) for A Woman Like Satan (1959).  Pretty hard to find in this format, and mint as always.  Sorry for the bad picture, it's big.

T

That has to have jumped the queue as one of the favorites in your collection T... That poster hits the mark on so many levels.

Very nice, T, being mint and all.  clap clap

But I wish the image on the poster looked more like Bardot. I would never guess that to be her (face-wise).  wynk

But spot on imagery is key and important to me, personally.

Good question.  I own close to 400 posters on Bardot and a lot of them are out of this world awesome.  Personal opinion, of course, I know it's not for everyone and I like it this way.  The French and Italian designs are the same on this particular poster, so I've owned it for many years.  But the size of the double panel makes it special (and the first one I see), so it would be in the top 10.

My feeling exactly.  I have zero problems with the way she's drawn.  To each his own.

The art looks almost identical to that used on the Italian 2F (artist also unknown). I wonder which one was the original/first to appear? emp's descriptive header calls this an Italian poster from 1959 (but also says there's a possibility that it's a RR further down in the description).

This fell into my "if you have never seen it buy it" thought process. It was a cheapy, have not seen another yet (SS 27x40).

T, Nice buys as always. In case you did not know and just for your OCD completest reference. There are two versions of this poster, the one you have here is the full one sheet and there is also a 27x40 version which is far far more common. The only difference between the two is the white space in bottom border is trimmed.

You know, it was really an afterthought.  I don't even know if I overpaid or not and I have yet to see it (a lot of my stuff, including the last sig auction, is still at HA.  Trying to save on shipping).  It was there, mint and rolled and the price seemed okay ($500 I think) so I went for it.  Glad to know it's the rarer one and now I'll go for the common one.

:)

This is so much cooler than the original one sheet.
Though it boggles my mind how this film warranted a 4K restoration.

By the way, is it completist or completest?

Nice!  Looks in great condition too (except for the missing corner at top right).  I've been trying to find a mint condition one for a long time.

It's autocorrect. Completist is what I was shooting for.

Hate autocorrect... nothing worse than having to go back to re-do what you typed in the first place.  moron1
