Tony - founder of Star Wars MP FB Group - sent me pic of him with Borst, had two hour chat!



Most interesting tidbit:

[Borst had] specific videos of hard to find movies that only Ron had. Ron let [Hugh Hefner] borrow the titles he had and figured out what Hef liked and sent him other movies. Hef started having Ron up at his mantion regularly and they developed a friendship.


Also:

He also mentioned how he got Harrison Ford’s autograph on the Raiders poster when they were filming an insignificant film outside his store. Not verified but how John Alvin and Drew Struzan were up for the same job and Drew had some of Alvin’s work in his portfolio.

Borst is best! Graven Images is one of the great staples of my library.  Awesome!  Okie
