But Tuesday night's THE WORLD OF MOVIE POSTERS! 750 non-U.S. posters from 25 different countries, closing tonight, on the 7th of September, represent REALLY incredible values, and that includes a lot of cool posters of all eras, and yet many of these are currently languishing at low, low, prices!

About "Special" Posters
     We regularly receive posters from hundreds of consignors, and the vast majority of them are standard movie poster sizes, and we gather those sizes together, and sell them in individual weeks (each week, posters of a different size). But we also receive a few posters now and then which are NOT standard movie poster sizes, and we also occasionally receive a few posters that are not even movie posters!
     Basically, this week we have gathered together 775 of these "special" posters, and are auctioning them all at one time. We urge you to look them all over very carefully, for they cover a HUGE range of years, sizes, and subjects and some are likely extremely rare, and we guarantee you that the vast majority of them will have images that are new to you!  Included are a relatively small number of commercial posters (posters sold directly to the public when the movie was created, BUT WE CLEARLY IDENTIFY ALL COMMERCIAL POSTERS AS SUCH!), and also "mini posters", which are the smaller posters that were sometimes given out at theaters to those who attended a movie. IT IS WELL WORTH YOUR WHILE TO LOOK THROUGH ALL OF THESE POSTERS, BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY COOL AND UNUSUAL ONES!

About the glass slides we are auctioning in this Sunday's auctions
In many of our previous Sunday auctions we have auctioned many glass slides (these came from an amazing single owner collection). We are now almost completely done auctioning this wonderful collection!  This week (as we did the last two weeks) we are auctioning the glass slides that have "condition issues" (ones where there is one or more cracks in the glass, or deterioration in the image, or both).  For some of these, the cracks or deterioration are fairly minor, and on some it is quite significant.  We have taken the best of these and are auctioning them individually, and have grouped up the really lesser ones into "bulk lots". This week we offer a great selection of unfolded or formerly folded 27" x 41" one-sheet (including many of the top titles of the 1970s and 1980s), an incredible collection of over 6,000 lobby cards (999 complete and incomplete sets), and a collection of 666 truly wonderful vintage stills!

There has NEVER been such a great time to purchase vintage movie paper! You get an incredible selection of thousands of items week in and week out, and we cover ALL the sizes of movie paper in a rotation that runs for two or three months. The group of 573 unfolded (or formerly folded) 27x41 one-sheets ENDING IN 5 HOURS  is ABSOLUTELY one of our best offerings ever of these posters EVER and includes some modern rarities!

We have auctioned rolled (either unfolded or formerly folded) 27" x 41" one-sheets before,  but TODAY'S GROUP INCLUDES LOTS OF RARE UNFOLDED VERSIONS OF POSTERS YOU ALMOST NEVER FIND UNFOLDED, PLUS LOTS OF RARE ALTERNATE OR INTERNATIONAL STYLES YOU ALMOST NEVER SEE! Where did these come from? Many come from a very dedicated collector who spent many years tracking down these rarities, and in just a few hours you will have a chance to buy them, and it may be a LONG time before your next chance comes along!

Three times EVERY week we auction hundreds of items that sell for low, low prices (we actually sell lots and lots of items for $1 and $2, and around half of all that we auction goes for $14 and under, and our leading 'competitor" NEVER auctions a single item for less than FIFTEEN DOLLARS, due to their outrageous $14 minimum buyers premium).
