Hi all.

Not sure what has gotten into me, but lately I've become interested in movie posters. I'm a long time comic book collector, so it seems natural to also be attracted to the art of film posters. I'm not sure really where to start, but I do know I'm mostly interested in horror and sci-fi stuff.

I've been looking around the forum at some of the cool stuff you all have on your walls, and this seems like a nice place to hang. ha.

 Welcome3.gif , Charlie and enjoy the really nice folks and posters that seem to abound here. Many also share your love of the horror & sci-fi genres so you're in good company.

Have you made any poster buys yet to start your collection? Post em, if you'd like to; Im sure all would enjoy seeing them, too!

And fellow member/dealer Rich Halegua (aka MoviePosterBid.com on the forum) is also our resident comic book expert, so Im sure you both will have much in common.

Welcome Charlie - there are some fantastic ppl on here who are very helpful, I'm sure you will learn a lot about collecting posters from the forum - it has saved me a lot of time and money listening to those in the know - look forward to seeing your purchases - stick in the latest acquisition thread which is updated monthly for all to see

Thanks all! I'm based in NYC, forgot to add that in my intro. Pretty sure we have some poster shops around here somewhere that I need to go check out
