Hey guys,

I did a search but didn't come up with much on this poster.  Are there known reproductions of this poster?  Big movie so I'm thinking there are.  Is there anything to look for with this poster? Besides looking at the small print if it's clear and crisp, and the size?

my Ghostbusters 2 regular poster is 27x41 it has a white boarder at the top and the bottom.  Bottom right has NSS number and "Ghostbusters II" beside it.  I believe the poster to be real since I read the white strip at the top and bottom is known as being real and printed from the Cleveland NSS plant? 

I also have a Ghostbusters 2 advance poster with white stripe top and bottom but no NSS number.  any thoughts?

If the size is 27x41 and it has the white border, I believe you are free and clear with an original. Outside of Moviegoods and the smaller reprint specialists, I do not know of this title ever being bootlegged....

here's a couple pics.  obviously it's not really possible to determine if a poster is authentic from a picture but here's a couple pics for a general idea.  It has the white border at the top and bottom and is definitely 27x41.  I took the pictures with it still in the frame but you can see in the second pic that it has a NSS number with "GHOSTBUSTERS II" next to it.

Original.  This poster was designed to be 27x39 but not everyone was prepared for the change, thus the 1 inch border at the top and bottom.  If this poster has been reproduced, I guarantee you the bootleggers used a full bleed version.

Thanks for all the info guys and no it does not have the white board on the Left and Right sides.  only on the top and bottom.
