Mel, this is a bit too personal to be posted on a public forum, IMO. U know I'm the last person to defend Adam, but posting personal emails crosses the line. If I did it a few months ago, it's mainly because Adam was explaining the reason for his absence, which I thought might answer some forum members' questions. I also asked him if it was okay, which he said it was. [I added the bold - Holiday]
Maybe I'm the only one to feel this way, and I certainly don't want to censor, but I think we should all refrain from posting personal emails.

I agree. It would be easy to say this is fun and therefore let it go, and it is fun, but the last time someone posted a private email it was dickhead Carson posting one of Ben's (wonka's) emails. Netiquette, folks. Don't post emails that are sent to you unless the sender gives you permission to do so. |

I think Mel must have made a post showing of a private email, and it has since been removed.
My general opinion... A private email is exactly that, meant to be private, unless otherwise agreed. Where are peoples common sense? It really reflects poorly on them.

In all fairness, at this point, I don't care where he got the posters from. If his collection is an inheritance, it's as legit as if he had collected them himself. He just owns the poster. I don't care if he got them yesterday or 30 years ago. I just want to see 'em. T |

I don't know what to believe, Paul. I kind of want to give him the benefits of the doubt, but at this point, I'm clearly losing patience. At first, I thought he didn't want to show them because they were his father's. So I told him it was okay, that no one really cared one way or the other. He never admitted it, and told me he was taking pictures. Fair enough. But it's been 5 months now, and his actions speak louder than words. I have indeed received emails from him. He has kept me posted on the progress of his photographic endeavor... but seriously  Seriously!!! T |

Tom Pennock, whom many of you know from other forums, is a Bond collector and says that Adz and his father are collectors, so I assume Adz actually has some posters. Maybe it's an American/European difference of view, but I consider "inheriting" or "being given" something as 100% unimpressive. Plus, he's gone around saying that "I have the greatest Bond collection in the world" without bothering to mention that he was given them. However, buried deep in his website he does thank "his Father, without whom this would not be possible." |
