I'm just teasing at this point  wynk  Prices will be on the website when it launches... whenever that is!  It was supposed to be Jan. 1st.  Then Jan. 20th.  Sigh.  Soon.

Here is another one:

That's a nice and colorful looking quad for sure, Matt.

One has to wonder why the artist used an image of Karloff from Son of Frankenstein as his basis.  dontknow.gif

And who's that in the lower left? Maybe a glamorized Una O'Connor?   ;D

What say you, Paul?

Grief Jeff, someone knows their way around the horror scene.  Impressed.

Yes, the 'fur coat' is definitely from "Son of Frankenstein". Paul pointed that out to me as soon as I showed it to him.  ;)

As is the face/hairline, with the scorched off locks from Bride of Frank, now back and fully grown in.   ;)

A couple, yes -- I think only one at launch tho.  The vast majority (85+% probably) of my inventory will be film related, but I'm going for a mix of others as well (travel, propaganda, advertising, sports, space, etc...). The idea was to launch with 50-100 posted and then start adding new batches frequently until I've gotten the majority online.

This is probably also a good time to announce that the site is now live!  Please come check us out at:

Great to see it finally launch! As you already know, I love the site.

Not that I need to vouch for Matt to you guys, but every time I've bought something from him it's been an excellent experience.

Matt,

My sincere congratulations for putting together such a comprehensive website. Very user friendly and it just looks very neat. Very appealing.

Can I ask a question? Is there a "search" option? Where can I find all the 20s, 30s posters?

You can search on '1920s' or '1930s' to bring up respective posters from this decades. However, there are very few at the moment. In the future and as my inventory grows to the point of requiring it, I'll likely be adding an 'advanced search' -- which is really filtering based on different fields. At this point I figured launching with a nice interface was the priority.

You got quite the paper collection there fella. Needs more propaganda posters though... And space posters.  Yes, more space posters.

Site looks good and love the posters! Although as ever with this hobby, I wish I had deeper pockets. Looking forward to seeing what else pops up.

Will you take consignments later down the line? Looking forward to seeing the APF 'mate's rates' for those ;)

Thanks for the kind words all!   I know I've been promising it for a long time now… Definitely more work than I thought!  And of course, I still have my personal, Eastern European–focused site in the works. Don't hold your breath though  ;D

To address a few of the specific points...

Consignment -- Yes, I'll likely be taking consignments -- but not anytime soon. First I need to focus on building my inventory and growing site traffic.

Prices -- Offers are always welcome :)

Selection -- Glad you like it so far… Stay tuned as there will be a lot more interesting posters to come!  I still haven't even built my large vacuum board so I can only do Argentinians and smaller at the moment.
