Something that will mean nothing to you guys but means a hell of a lot to me...

Finnish Duel poster for my Steven Spielberg collection.

Being a completist can really suck, especially when you spend 8 years courting someone in the hope that he will sell you that one poster you've been after for so long.

Well, he finally did, and I'm happy.  Wasn't cheap, but I don't care, it's mine.  My 33rd Duel poster.

I can't wait for Warren's new movie.  Man, he's been at it for 15 years now.  I've met him a bunch of times.  One of the greats for sure.

WoW T. I am impressed. His acting is pure class. MacCabe & Mrs Miller is one of my favourite films.

Nothing to be impressed about.  A friend of mine was his personal assistant for years and another friend of mine directed a movie with Annette Bening.  He has the most amazing stories about Warren, like watching his movie on Warren's computer at 3 am with Warren giving him his opinion on the takes and telling him war stories between him and his buddy Jack.  Wish I had been there for that.

Or the Spielberg archive...  Either way, it works and I'm happy.  I got it from a guy in Finland who sold me his and said that he has yet to see another one in 30 years of collecting.

I snatched up a couple more of these for a great price because cost of Thai posters is going through the roof.  It's actually kind of ridiculous with price hikes up to %500 in the last 2 years.  My days of collecting them is coming to an end because of it.  I'm getting lucky with a few untapped genres but for the most part the others are now out of my reach.  Did any of you out there ever experience this with posters from other countries or genres?

Well, it's not entirely hers, thank God.  A mix of things.  That would be tragic ;)

She is great in Urban Cowboy.  I still think it's one of Travolta's best films.  I'll never get sick of her scene where she rides the mechanical bull.
